Super Junior invited as Special Guest on Golden Melody Awards Taiwan

Super Junior is the only foreign singer invited as special guest on Taiwan’s biggest music awards: Golden Melody Awards.

To be held at Taiwan Arena, Taipei, June 27th, Golden Melody Awards is recognized as China’s most prestigious music awards. Popular stars from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan are invited to perform on this award.

Super Junior released their 3rd album in Taiwan and topped many Taiwan’ music charts. In addition ‘Sorry Sorry’ choreography became very popular in China, Thailand, and other countries in Asia.

Super Junior will attend this year’s 20th Golden Melody Awards and this can be viewed via The Eastern Satellite TV* (东风卫视) Taiwan and also will be broadcast live in China, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, Philippines and the rest of Asia.

Super Junior said, “When we heard the news that ‘Sorry Sorry’ received lots of love, we were so grateful. This time we are so happy to get the opportunity to meet the Taiwan fans directly. We’ll show you a good performance.

”Meanwhile, Super Junior will finish their 3rd album activities on June 26th in the KBS Music Bank.

Tohoshinki will collaborate with DREAM

DREAM adalah Avex girlband yang sudah lama aktif dalam jangka waktu yang lama akan merilis anniversary single mereka ke 9 dengan judul "DREAM 9" yang akan di rilis berdasarkan tanggal 9 September 2009 (pasca fitting nya). Salah satu dari track lagunya akan ada showcasing kolaborasi dengan Avex boyband dari Korea yaitu, Tohoshinki. Disamping dari keahlian dan kesibukan mereka di agensi Korea, Tohoshinki belum pernah berkolaborasi dengan girlband yang lain.

2NE1-‘I Don’t Care’ is up #1 on real time charts

2NE1 released their new song ‘I Don’t Care’ title song off their 1st minialbum on 1st July at 2pm, and has received overwhelming responses.

The song is already up #1 on real time charts, giving them the names as ‘the best new singers’. Bringing another new meaning from the ‘war of the girlgroups’ with other groups like So Nyeo Shi Dae and 4Minute.

YG said, “We are very surprised the song went up to #1 as soon as it is revealed. I think that it will be great if the responses for their activities be as good.”

The song is a R&B pop number with a reggae melody and medium tempo, written by Kush and Teddy. All eyes are on the girls if they will have consecutive 3 hits with their previous hits like ‘Lollipop’ and ‘Fire’.

The girls will release their 1st minialbum on 8th July.
