Rain's New boygroup MBLAQ

We revealed to you about Rain's new 5-member boy group in August and nothing has been heard about them since until now.

The debut of the Female Rain under J.Tune might have been delayed, but plans for Rain's boy group to debut are right on track. Information about this new 5-member group are still limited, with neither of their identities known nor the group name. But it's believed that all 5 are great dancers like Rain and were personally picked by Rain through the numerous trainees.

Rain has since devoted much of his time on this new group, and has had a hand in their music, dance cheoregraphy, style, etc. Despite being busy with his own schedule, Rain also personally planned the group's daily training schedule.

According to a J.Tune staff, this new group will probably make their debut as early as October, just after Chuseok. With this being Rain's first idol group as a producer, J.Tune and himself are treating this project as a very important thing for the company.

With many of the promotions for girl groups (except 2NE1) coming to an end in October, this new boy group will have to do battle with Big Bang's Taeyang, B2ST, etc.

Taeyang Solo Comeback in Mid October

Big Bang member TaeYang's solo comeback is right around the corner!

YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun Suk stated on YGE's homepage on the 24th:
"Around mid month in October, we will release digitally, TaeYang's new single "WHERE U AT," and Music Video first. As for the full album, we have not decided on the release date yet. In addition, TaeYang's first mini-album promotions were very short, so this time around, for his first full album, we are working on ways to allow TaeYang to promote for a long time."


Yang Hyun Suk also stated that in the first week of December, G-Dragon will hold a 2 day solo concert at the Olympic Hall in Seoul.

Super Junior's Kangin won't attend the 2009 Asia Song Festival

Walaupun sekarang Kangin masih berada di Hongkong untuk melakukan aktivitas dalam Supershow Concert II di Hongkong,,namun telah dikonfirmasi bahwa Kangin won't attend the 2009 Asia Song Festival...

So many Boygroups issues are spreading these days (DBSK, 2PM, Super Junior, SS501) and the other one is a bunch of Girlgroups keep surfacing to Kpop scene. Is September bad month for boygroups??

SM Entertainment stated to Newsen on the 18th:

"Kangin will not be attending the Asia Song Festival. Although Kangin will not attend, the rest of the Super Junior members will continue on as planned and perform on stage."

Kangin will be returning to Korea immediately after the Super Show 2 concert is over. In addition, Hwang Jung Eum and Kim Yong Joon will be replacing Kangin for the Andre Kim fashion show after he was dropped earlier for uncertainty over his status.

Kangin who is currently under investigation for a recent assault case, which occurred at a bar in Seoul on September 16th, 2009, is claiming innocence. Details from the CCTV footage from the night of the fight were supposed to be released today, but it has been delayed as the police have said that the experts require more time.

Hello, this is JYP.

For the past five days we have listened to what many people had to say regarding the Jaebeom incident. We have listened to the rebukes towards Jaebeom, the rebukes toward our company, and many of you telling us to give him another chance has been carefully heard.

We have carefully and thoroughly discussed what the next moves are regarding our company, the 2PM members, and Jaebeom. Jaebeom has been receiving many encouraging comments from many fans, but his feelings about his wrong doings has still not changed. He still feels sorry and embarrassed for what he did and is not able to perform on stage. Jaebeom has pleaded to not cancel 2PM's activities which was the result of the sweat, blood and tears of the other six members, just because of what he has done. He has said this is the reason why he must leave 2PM.

I also agree with Jaebeom. The reason why i have not held on to Jaebeom is because if we look towards the life ahead of him, this will not be a big matter that will effect his whole life. Many of you are worried that he has wasted four years of training towards his dream, but i believe that training has not gone to waste, because if he grabs this chance to mature as a person, Jaebeom will be able to fly better than ever.

I believe that as harmful the words that came from Jaebeom were, telling him to immediately leave the country was no better. I am going to respect his decision / wish of wanting to spend some time alone, off the stage and if and when the time comes that he tells me he is ready to come back on stage and perform, it is my duty / role to do everything in my power to help him with this wish. When that day comes, I believe that's when your encouragements and cheering will truly help him. I am once again truly sorry and apologize for not being able to thoroughly take care of my artists. I will do my best in making sure things like this never happen again.

I once again would like to thank all of you.

Prediction of SNSD's Genie Mini Album Sales

The nation's representative girl group SNSD has silenced the music industry with their powerful syndrome as the green light for SNSD to sell over 100,000 copies consecutively for their past three albums has been turned on.

According to Hanteo charts, SNSD's second mini album has sold nearly 40,000 copies within a week of its release, drawing closer to the possibility of three consecutive albums selling over 100,000. It is an incredibly rare feat for a girl group to sell 40,000 albums within a week. When additionally taken into consideration the fact that SNSD's first mini album Gee took over the first half of the year by selling 24,000 copies in their first week, you can easily guess the immense popularity of this group.

Moreover, since Hanteo gathers its data by aggregation, it is entirely possible that their current album sales have surpassed the 40,000 mark. Industry insiders estimate that 50,000 to 60,000 copies have been sold within this first week. The exact numbers will have to be released by their agency according to how many albums were shipped out.

Furthermore, SNSD is not only powerful in their album sales, but also in their online sales and ringtones. As soon as "Tell Me Your Wish" was released, it shot to the top of the charts on Melon, Dosirak, MNet, Bugs and other online charts and immediately stood at number one on their charts for the month of July. It also solidly occupied the top of the SK Telecom ringtone charts.

Super Junior is the only foreign singer invited as special guest on Taiwan’s biggest music awards: Golden Melody Awards.

To be held at Taiwan Arena, Taipei, June 27th, Golden Melody Awards is recognized as China’s most prestigious music awards. Popular stars from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan are invited to perform on this award.

2NE1-‘I Don’t Care’ is up #1 on real time charts

2NE1 released their new song ‘I Don’t Care’ title song off their 1st minialbum on 1st July at 2pm, and has received overwhelming responses.

The song is already up #1 on real time charts, giving them the names as ‘the best new singers’. Bringing another new meaning from the ‘war of the girlgroups’ with other groups like So Nyeo Shi Dae and 4Minute.

YG said, “We are very surprised the song went up to #1 as soon as it is revealed. I think that it will be great if the responses for their activities be as good.”

The song is a R&B pop number with a reggae melody and medium tempo, written by Kush and Teddy. All eyes are on the girls if they will have consecutive 3 hits with their previous hits like ‘Lollipop’ and ‘Fire’.

The girls will release their 1st minialbum on 8th July.

SM Entertainment's seen an increase in it's Stock Value

SM Entertainment, who manages popular groups and artistes like Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, Dong Bang Shin Ki and more, has seen an increase in it’s stock value – to reach ₩12 Billion.

At Noon, on the 17th, SM Entertainment announced the increase of ₩ 19,100,000,000. The company’s President, Lee Soo Man, holds 27% of the shares.

On 2 January 2009, the first trading day of the year, SM’s stock was valued at ₩6,860,000,000. They have managed to reach their target of hitting ₩12 Billion within 6 months.The increase of SM Entertainment’s stock value by more than 50% in the first half of the year is mostly due to the many activities by Girls’ Generation and Super Junior.

One of the largest shareholders being Bae Yong Jun, Keyeast Co’s shares rose to ₩4,000,000,000 and Rain’s company J-Tune Entertainment’s shares rose to ₩2,400,000,000

Super Junior + TVXQ will be filming a MOVIE

According to the news, Super Junior will be filming a movie that is based in the modern days.

This is a good opportunity for the 13 individual, and different Super Junior members to perform their actual skills. In this movie, two members from TVXQ will be guest-starring, but play important roles in this modern-day movie.

Q: Who in TVXQ will get the two roles?
A:For now, it is unknown.

Super Junior and TVXQ has been gaining more and more fame since their debut, and this movie may boost up their social status in the music industry even more.Everyone hopes that we will soon see the splendid movie starring all thirteen Super Junior members and two members from TVXQ!

2NE1's 1st Mini Album Tracklist

Having concluded their Fire promotions on SBS Inkigayo last Sunday, 2NE1 will be hoping to continue their momentum with the impending release of their new song and their 1st mini album on 1st and 8th July respectively.

Their 2nd title song after Fire will be a reggae R&B ballad called I don't care which is co-produced by YG producer Teddy and Kush from reggae group, Stony Skunk. They hope to present a totally different side and image of 2NE1 to fans after their Fire promotions.

Besides I don't care, there will be another 4 new songs in the mini-album consisting of In the Club, Let's Go Party, Pretty Boy, Stay Together. Adding Fire and Lollipop (w/ Big Bang), 2NE1's 1st mini album will have a total of 7 tracks.

KARA Will Joined Girl Groups War in the end of July

KARA came back with a performance on KBS Music Bank on 26th June after their promotional activities for ‘Honey’ ended in April.

It has been said that the girls will comeback end-July. They will join the ‘war of the girl groups’ with So Nyeo Shi Dae, Brown Eyed Girls, 2NE1, 4Minute etc.

KARA Han Seung Yeon said in the waiting room during Music Bank, “After resting for a while, it felt like our heart has went on a vacation. We hope that everyone will look forward to our new image with our new album and comeback.”

SeungYeon spoke about the other girlgroups, “We are very interested in the other girl groups and we are observing them too. They bring really good and fun performances. We will show a side that is more matured than when we debuted. We are very envious and there are also many things that we have seen and learned. But we will have our charms different from other groups. We will show the charms that are special only to ourselves. We are confident of that.”

Leader Park GyuRi said, “We are currently working hard on recording. We will soon go into choreography practice. We are observing the other great girlgroups who are capable and talented. We will show a more developed (improved) side of us through this album. There will be a KARA-cuteness, but we will also have charms that are special to us.”

a few news to tell you guysfirst, there had been a unconfirmed rumour
posted in dreaming cafe, it basically says that steph's aunt (relative?) who's a
Physical Education teacher in Korea said steph had fully recovered from her
injuries long ago, but she injured herself again on the ankle while doing a
ballet performance in the states. She is fine now and will have a perfect
comeback.

second, the smtown concert schedule posted on the stadium website is
removed and a representative from SM had confirmed that the date is still in
negotiation

third, the girls are currently working very hard getting ready for their
comeback, Sharpleys, which are us, just need to be a bit more patient. (From
SM's plans, i think it is after SNSD's Comeback)

2PM will release an official album in Thailand

2PM will release an official album in Thailand leading the ‘Thailand Korean wave’.

2PM will release a ‘2PM Thailand Special Edition’ which will include 2 CDs with songs from their 1st single ‘Hottest time of the day’ and their new single ‘2:00PM Time for Change’ together with a DVD containing the group’s MV.

The DVD will include the MVs ‘10 points out of 10′ and ‘Again & Again’ which had both taken the boys up to the #1 spot on Thailand MTV and Channel V chart.

Recently 2PM member Nich Khun has also been in the limelight for doing CF modelling in Thailand. 2PM talked about releasing an album in Thailand, “We are very excited to release an overseas album, it is even more exciting that we are releasing in Thailand where we have won 3 #1s on their charts this year.

We are looking forward to meeting our fans in Thailand for our promotions there.”Meanwhile the boys are promoting their latest hit ‘I Hate You’.

Sungmin Injured His Knee

He had fell down during the rehearsal for KBS 2TV Music Bank on 26th June and had hurt his knees.A staff revealed that SungMin was helped offstage after the accident.

A SM representative also added, “He was sent to the hospital for stitching after the accident.”But even though he is injured, SungMin will still be performing on stage tonight on Music Bank.

The SM representative said, “SungMin wanted very much to perform. So he will still be performing tonight as planned.”

Meanwhile, there will be loads of special and combeack staged lined up tonight for KBS Music Bank.

I'm a SM Town Fans, so i'll post this...

It was brought up in Naver and titled "Taemin Harrasment"

There has been this topic spreading like fire on the internet with photos and accounts pointing to youngest member TaeMin of SHINee, currently schooling in ChungDam highschool, being bullied and harrassed in school.There has also been the popular search keywords “TaeMin harrassement”, “TaeMin harrassement photos” on search portal sites.There was supposedly an exposure of a girl’s diary on how she had stalked TaeMin in school. Parts of her diary:

Today was rainy, so I was going to give up seeing
Lee Taemin, but then the Taemin spy came in and told me “Noona, in 9 minutes,
Taemin’s leaving” or something like that… So I ran like fire but it’s raining
like crazy… But Lee Taemin has an umbrella. He also had a beanie in his other
hand so my friend stuck to him and started talking to him when I was just taking
pictures. Just then as he went to the gym he almost fell.. I was laughing so I
couldn’t take the picture then he went to the teacher’s office. I followed him
in then the homeroom teacher said “Did you come just now?”. Taemin looked kind
of disappointed and misunderstood and said “No, I came at period 1.” Then the
teacher goes into the Principle’s office with Taemin. Whatever/ So I prepared my
continuous 9 shot camera. Just then Lee Taemin came out in his beanie. He looked
at the mirror before he left ㅠㅠ…

After Japanese class, I asked my friend if we should follow TaeMin again.

So we were waiting outside the gym and then this kid who looked like him
appeared, we went up and it wasn’t him so we scolded him ****. Then he came
down, his height was obviously much taller than that kid before. We went up and
stuck ourselves next to him

Me: Taemin ah, when is Jong Hyun doing his birthday party?

TaeMin: …

Me: Jong Hyun is not having a birthday party?

TaeMin: …

My friend: Taemin ah, do you want to date noona? Why don’t you hold noona’s hand? Do you hate noona’s hand so much? You hurt noona’s heart, I’m going to scold you **** for not answering me if Jong Hyun is having his birthday party

This has reportedly went on for about 3 weeks, there were more incident about the spies and stalking of TaeMin in school. The girl whose diary was exposed online also apologised for her act.Another article from Tellzone

I’m a guy in my 3rd year of high school and this isn’t a lie. My friend
at ChungDam high school told me it wasn’t up until physical group
harassment. But when he comes to school nearly 100 students cover
his way and won’t let him pass and take pictures and stuff. When he tried to pass some say stuff like “you think you’re so big ’cause you’re a celebrity’ or ‘he’s not as tall as I imagined’ or ‘he’s not that handsome’ and a lot of other stuff.

And there’s another story everyone at the high school knows
about the a time he was listening to classes and he ate lunch at the teacher’s lounge. So some delinquents from 2nd grade came and waited during lunch and when he came back and sat at his desk with his head down, they kicked his desk and said stuff like “hey, do we look like idiots to you? Do you think you’re so big because you’re a celebrity? **** Hey put your head up.” and etc. They throw erasers at him and swear at him and stuff. This is pretty well known around the school. Some other delinquents 3 girls keep following him and take pictures and annoy him.

They keep following him and trying to hold his hand and stuff.

Netizens had an uproar about this. Many pitied TaeMin while many thought the fans and his schoolmates were really overdoing it.
